Algi-up: biostimulant for arable crops

Algi-up is a cutting-edge foliar biostimulant designed to improve tolerance to heat and water stress. Once the stress period is over, treated plants recover more quickly.

Recently approved for sale in Europe as a biostimulant, algi-up is now available for use across all arable crops.

A certified biostimulant for arable and organic farming Compliant with Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 and classified under PFC 6(B), Algi-up is a non-microbial plant biostimulant approved for use in conventional farming. Its liquid, soluble alginate-based formulation is easy to apply, even in large-scale crop systems.

Mode of action and composition

Algi-up works on multiple levels: it improves water use efficiency, stimulates the natural production of antioxidants (carotenoids and glutathione), and strengthens the plant’s immune system through secondary metabolite synthesis. This triple action boosts crop resilience under extreme climatic conditions.

Measured results under climatic stress

Trials conducted under extreme conditions (42 °C for 5 days) showed significant growth improvements:

  • +40% plant height in soft wheat
  • +23% in durum wheat
  • +54% in turfgrass

These results confirm Algi-up’s ability to improve crop performance and speed up post-stress recovery.

Directions for use Algi-up is applied via foliar spraying at a rate of 2 L/ha, diluted in 100 L of water. It can be used throughout the growing season, either preventively before a stress period or curatively after a climatic event. Algi-up is non-phytotoxic, residue-free, UV- and rainfast, and stable at room temperature.

It is compatible with most standard foliar treatments (compatibility tests recommended). For best results, apply outside peak heat hours and shake well before use.

A sustainable solution for resilient agriculture

With its natural composition, proven effectiveness against abiotic stresses, and user-friendly formulation, Algi-up stands out as a strategic biosolution for farmers aiming for sustainable and high-performing agriculture.
